SUCCINCT SUMMARY
----------------
Some Rashi comments deal with FORMATTING.
Modern authors FORMAT using such techniques as
BULLETS, PARAGRAPHING, BOLD, ITALICS and UNDERLINE.
The Biblical Author achieved these effects but thru
different means.

For example a modern author might hilight distinct
items using BULLETS. The Biblical Author hilights
distinct items using REPEATING KEYWORDS.

We call this the Rashi rule of FORMATTING with the Rashi
subrule of KEYWORDS AS BULLETS

EXAMPLE: Dt23-05a
-------------------------------------
The following verse, Dt23-05a
discusses how Amon/Moab mistreated us
-------------------------------------
Converted Moabites/Amonites may not marry Jews
because Moab/Amon did not give us food
- ON the road
- ON leaving Egypt
while you were not yet fully fearful of God
-------------------------------------

The repeated Keyword, ON, creates a BULLET like effect
There are two bullets and hence two items are being
mentioned.
- You had just left Egypt where you were slaves
- You were still 'on the road'--not in a settled state
(See *10)

In other words both
- your PAST (Egyptian slavery)
- and PRESENT (on the road-not settled)
made you vulnerable.
