VERY BRIEF SUMMARY
------------------
One of Rashis 6 main methods are the Rabbi
Ishmael Style rules. These style rules
dictate whether a verse is interpreted
broadly or restrictively.

A Rashi in Pesachim 6b states that all
simply stated Biblical examples are interpreted
broadly.

The simplest example is Dt25-04 DONT MUZZLE
AN OX WHILE THRESHING. Jewish Law generalizes
this verse to ANY ANIMAL (not just an OX).

Some further examples in todays list are

EXAMPLE
-------
Paying for disability applies to any tort
-- a typical example is making a person Bedridden

EXAMPLE
-------
You must free a slave for permanant damage
to any visible organ-- not just a tooth or eye*10

The examples today come from the Rabbi Ishmael
series. For a comprehensive review visit
