*1 Most commentators use this verse to translate CMR as BLACK
However since CMR means NET I assume the reference is not
to COLOR but FORM (When a pot gets stained it does so
in a striped net-like form). Similarly when there is skin
disease from starvation the skin usually gets patched in
a net like fashion
*2 GOOSE-PIMPLES have a NET-LIKE appearance. At any rate
K-M-R can mean INTENSE emotions
*3 Radack and Hirsch offer different reasons why KMR means PRIESTS
- RADACK: Priests dressed in black-striped uniforms
- HIRSCH: Priests see their purpose in life to GOOSE-PIMPLE
their adherents.*10
