SUCCINCT SUMMARY
----------------
One of Rashis 5 mains tasks is to explain grammar the
same way modern Hebrew textbooks do. An important
principle of grammar in all languages is APPOSITION.
The examples will illustrate and clarify what APPOSITION
means.

STANDARD EXAMPLE Is63-07
------------------------
- The KINDNESS of God I will remember --
- the PRAISE of God

This sentence is UNDERSTOOD as follows
------------------------------------------------
- I will remember the KINDNESS and PRAISE of God
------------------------------------------------

This illustrates what APPOSITION does--it takes
part of a sentence (PRAISE) and places it at
the end as an afterthought!

Apposition, is a powerful technique that is
used in poetry--it strongly causes the listener
to evoke associations(which is one goal of poetry)

Ex25-33b Ex25-33c
-----------------
- 3 STEMS in each shaft -- BUDS and FLOWERS
- 3 STEMS in each shaft -- BUDS and FLOWERS

This really means
- 3 STEMS BUDS and FLOWERS in each shaft
