VERSE: Ex19-13b

RULE: The Hebrew roots Y-R-H and Z-R-K both mean to throw.
(a) Y-R-H means to THROW DOWNWARD
(b) Z-R-K means to TOSS (not necessarily downward)

EXAMPLES:

(1-3) In the following verses the Hebrew root Y-R-H occurs
      In all these cases the objects go downward

(1) Dt11-14 Rain is THROWN DOWNWARD
(2) 2Sam11-20 Arrows are "thrown" and eventually go DOWNWARD
(3) Jos18-6 Lots are cast "DOWNWARD"
