VERSE: Ex20-15b



RULE: The Hebrew root R-A-H has about a dozen meanings. The
unifying theme is SEE.




In particular in Ex20-15b
        "..and they SAW the thunder"
is interpreted to mean
        "..and they PROPHETICALLY VISIONED the thunder"
(the argument being that although SEE is the primary meaning
of R-A-H, nevertheless you can NOT see thunder--hence we must
interpret the word "SEE" as  "prophetically SEE")

*2 Literally "Let us SEE each other in battle"
*3 There is also a meaning of DUNG (As in Lv01-16). However
   my opinion is that DUNG(RAH) = a PUSSY(Resh resh) ISLAND(Aleph Yud),
   is a separate meaning having nothing to do with SEE. The other
   meanings above all come from the fundamental idea of SEEING
