I just want Rashis on the Parshah...what do I do?
- --------------------------------------------------------
- CLICK on the PARSHAH page
You see a 5 x 13 grid
- The first column has the PARSHAHS in Genesis
- The second column has the PARSHAHS in Exodus
- Suppose for example you wanted Rashis on Lech Lechah
- You have to know that LECH LECHAH is in GENESIS
- Scroll down the 1st column till you find LECH LECHAH
Note: Spellings of parshah names may differ
from what you ordinarily see
but you can still easily recognize them.
- ---------------------- PARSHAH PAGE ORGANIZATION --------
- Each parshah page is organized into three columns
The first column is the verse column
- For example Gn13-05b refers to
- The Second (Rashi b) Rashi
- on verse 5
- of chapter 13
- of the book of Genesis (Gn)
- The second column contains the RASHI RULE used
For example WORD MEANINGS means that Rashi
on Gn13-05b is explaining the meaning of words
- For more information on our approach visit Rashi rules
- The third column contains a Very brief explanation
Sometimes this brief explanation illuminates the Rashi without reading it
Sometimes the explanation is too brief and doesnt help
- You can click on the VERSE column
- This opens up a POSTING from the Rashi-is-Simple newsletter
- This posting gives an explanation of the Rashi and provides lists
