VERSE: Gn01-04a

RULE: Gn01 can be interpreted BOTH literally and symbolically
For example a literal iterpretation of "Let there be light"
means that God created light. A symbolic interpretation of
Let there be light means eg that God created the "Lights of
prophecy".

One of the keywords that forces us to interpret Gn01 SYMBOLICALLY
is the phrase SPIRIT OF GOD (Gn01-02). The phrase SPIRIT OF GOD
**always** refers to prophecy. It is this which remotivates
reinterpreting the rest of Gn01 as referring to PROPHECY

This is fully developed in my paper on Gn01. According to this
paper what happened 6000 years ago was the creation of prophecy
not the creation of the world Thus we would interpret the first
few verses in Gn01 as follows

For the sake of the choicest things in man God created the
spiritual and physical worlds. But the physical emotional world
had been dark ..with however awareness of prophecy and God
hovering in the background. But God said 'Let there be the lights
of prophecy and it was so'

For complete details see my paper

EXAMPLES
--------
{LIST} of verses where the phrase SPIRIT OF GOD occurs with a
clear indication of WHO WAS PROPHETICALLY INSPIRED.

VERSE WHO WAS PROPHETICALLY INSPIRED
=====               ==============================
(1) Jud-3-10 ASNiEL son of KNaZ
(2) Jud-11-29 YifTach
(3) Jud-13-25 Shimshon
(4) 1S-19-20 King Saul's servants
(5) 1S-10-6 Saul
(6) 1S-10-10 Saul
(7) 4-24-2 Joshua
(8) Gn41-38 Joseph
(9) Ex31-3 Bsalel

NOTES:
-----
*1 The symbolic meaning of LIGHT as referring to prophecy
can be confirmed by eg considering the "LIGHTS & PERFECTION"
(URIM VTUMIM) on the Priests Garments (which were used for
prophecy! Similarly God, the SOURCE of light/prophecy is called
THE SUN Ps84-12.)
