SUCCINCT SUMMARY

Rashi frequently makes powerful inferences from the alignment
of ALMOST similar verses. The minor variations between these
almost similar verses suggests nuances and differences or
even meaning. We call this the Rashi rule of ALIGNMENT
When Rashi identifies two cases from the ALIGNMENT we call
this the Rashi sub-method of TWO CASES

Rashi picks up the contrast between the CAPPED
words, TELL vs. SHOW

The Bible uses the word TELL for the events
of the NEXT seven years. By contrast, the Bible
uses the word SHOW for the events of years 8-14.
The reason for this is clear: TELL has a connotation
of something known and immediate while SHOW has
a connotation of something in the future.
