In the other TRANSFER METHODS the discharger
came in contact with a PERSON who then had
to immerse in water. The contact could be
through SPITTING or TOUCHING or other methods
of TRANSFER. But in the LIEING and SITTING
transfer methods the discharger confers
impurity on an OBJECT--the seat or bed. A person
touching the SEAT or BED is also impure. Thus
SITTING and LIEING have greater EFFECT OF
TRANSFER since they can transfer to OBJECTS
as well as people
