OVERVIEW:
--------
In this module we review the meanings of the Hebrew root
YUD-DALET-AYIN. This root is normally translated as TO KNOW.
But its real meaning is BE FAMILIAR or APPRECIATE. For example
Gn04-01 would be translated 'AND ADAM WAS FAMILIAR WITH HIS WIFE'
denoting marital intimacy.

EXAMPLES:

In the following verses YUD-DALET-AYIN clearly does not just
mean TO KNOW. It rather means to APPRECIATE. The point of the
verse is not that NEW INFORMATION was discovered but rather
that KNOWN FACTS were finally APPRECIATED

(1) Ex18-11a Now I APPRECIATE that God is greater than all gods
(2) Gn12-11a & Abraham said to Sarah
             'Now I APPRECIATE you are beautiful'
(3) Gn42-23a they didn't APPRECIATE that Joseph was listnening
