RULE: There are many Hebrew roots which mean TO CALM DOWN.
The root Sh-K-K means to GRADUALLY CALM DOWN. The root
ShKK occurs only 5 times in the Bible

EXAMPLES

 There are only 5 occurences of the root Sh-K-K in the Bible
 In the first 3 cases it is clear that the CALMING DOWN is
 gradual (eg the receding of the flood waters did not
 happen all at once). The other two verses are less clear and
 are discussed in the main posting
