------------------------------------------------------------
VERSE: Nu35-11a
RULE: The Hebrew word KRH means to DESIGNATE/PREPARE *1
EXAMPLES
--------
(1) Dt25-18 "Amalek PLOTTED against you on your way out of Egypt"
(2) Gn44-29 "If I send Binyamin someone might PLOT on him"
(3) Nu11-23 "(God to Moses) We will see if my promise is PREPARED"
(4) Lv26-21 "& If you PLOT against walking with me"
(5) Gn24-12 "PREPARE for me today"
NOTES
*1 It does not mean to HAPPEN as it is usually translated. It also
does not mean a WALLED city as Ibn Ezra translates) If one looks
thru the above examples HAPPENED vs PLOTTED does not make sense
(eg Amalek did not HAPPEN to us the rather PREPARED and DECLARED
war. Similarly Lv26-21 does not talk about HAPPENING TO SIN but
about rebellion with sin). Finally the statement in Nu35-11
PREPARE CITIES is parallel to the analagous statement in
Dt19-03. See the main posting for a more thorough discussion
as well as a discussion of the Rashi Ibn Ezra controversy
