This is simply not true.  The Rambam firmly believed we would offer
sacrifices when Mashiach comes and the Temple is rebuilt, The Rambam even
mentions that there will be 10 Red Heifers in human history >  >  the 10th one
being brought by King Mesiah...>  >

The Rambam does appear to say to the contrary in His Guide to The
Perplexed...but this contradicts numerous statements in his own code of
law. In an article I wrote (Maimonidees attitude towards Sacrifices;
Tradition 1973) I show by quoting sources from the Rambam himself that the
Rambam deliberately wrote false statements about the restoration of
sacrifices in order to save Jews who, under the influence of Hellinism were
straying from Judaism (The heter for such a lie occurs in the Rambam
himself!!)
