Subject: Re: Geocentric vs Heliocentric Theories
Do we have the right to call something the word of God if there is human
controversy over it?
There is a beautiful subtle distinction here. While, as correctly
pointed out, an ordinance derived by a method of inference from the Torah
**is** subject to possible controversy, nevertheless, this possibly wrong
ordinance has a status of a **Biblical commandment**. Thus despite the fact
that it is subject to controversy we still have the right to call it the
word of G-d!!!
