VERSE: Dt24-15a

There is no PROBLEM with the verse which says
Pay him on time because he is poor and he
risks his life for the employer"

Rashi simply gives a nifty example to show
that the laborer risks his life.

eg A Window washer hangs from the windows
and if his strap breaks he will die. Examples
like this emphasize the need for timely payment
