SUCCINCT SUMMARY

Some Rashi comments deal with FORMATTING.
Modern authors FORMAT using such techniques as
BULLETS, PARAGRAPHING, BOLD, ITALICS and UNDERLINE.
The Biblical Author achieved these effects but thru
different means.

For example a modern author might hilight distinct
items using BULLETS. The Biblical Author hilights
distinct items using REPEATING KEYWORDS.

We call this the Rashi rule of FORMATTING with the Rashi
subrule of KEYWORDS AS BULLETS

EXAMPLE Ex03-19:20 states

And I God know that
- Pharoh will NOT let you go
- and will NOT [let you go even] through force
- [But] When I strike him with FULL FORCE he will
  let you go.

The repeating keywords NOT in the first two
clauses create a BULLETING effect.
- Pharoh will NOT let you go when you ask him
- and NOT [let you go even] through FORCE
The next verse then becomes a contrastive bullet
- [But he will let you go after] I strike him
  with full military force in him

Finally LIST120k summarizes the above bulleting.
