VERSE: Gn47-29d

RULE: The word CHESED means LOVINGKINDNESS. The word EMETH
means TRUTH. The phrase CHESED VEMETH is a new term referring
to a favor where the giver does not expect reciprocity (eg
by burial--the person buried will never pay back the buriers)*1

EXAMPLES
--------
Gn47-29, Jacob's request for burial
2Sam2-6, Yavesh Gilad's burial of Saul
Jos2-14, The spies promise to spear the prostitutes life
Gn24-49, The request to let Rivkah leave her house(& Marry Isaac)
2Sam15-20, ITIY leaves his house and joins David during the
           Avshalom rebellion

NOTES
-----
*1 The logic seems to be that an act of charity without
reciprocity is TRUE CHARITY (CHESED EMETH) since nothing
is expected in return.
