VERSE: Gn49-04a

RULE:  By a 2-letter root we mean any 3 letter root
one of whose letters is weak (VAV, HAY, CHET, or a double
letter).  Very often all 2 letter roots have similar
meanings.

A 3 letter root whose 2nd letter is CHET has the
same or similar meaning as the 2 letter root of the
remaining 2 letters.

EXAMPLES:

(1) B-Ch-R=Choose comes from B-R-R=Choose
(2) M-Ch-Tz=Squeeze/Crush comes from M-TzTz=Squeeze

(3) B-Ch-L=Fright comes from B H L=Confusion
(4) B-Ch-N=Tested(well built) comes from B-N-H=Build
(5) D-Ch-K=Shove him comes from D-K-K=Thin (his space)
(6) M-Ch-R=Tomorrow comes from M-O-R=Replacement (of today)*1
(7) TzCh-N=Stinging Stench comes from TzNH=Thorn(Stinging)
(8) R-Ch-V=Spacious comes from R-V-H=Alot

(9) P-Ch-Z=Fizz comes from P-Z-Z=Sparkling Gold*2 (Rashi)
