There is nothing troublesome with the verse.
Rashi however uses the verse to teach moral
and ethical lessons: Project managers get credit
even if all they did is oversee. We learn this
from Nu07-01: Moses who oversaw the building of
the Temple is given credit for it even though Bzalel
did most of the building.
