======================= Nu07-12a ================

SUCCINCT SUMMARY
----------------
The 12 tribes donated identical gifts to the
Tabernarcle. The donation of the gifts is
recorded 12 times using almost identical
language. An alignment of the chapters shows
(a) Nacshon PERSONALLY donated his gift
(not from tribal funds) (b) There was bickering
on the order; so Moses gave the order by prophecy
(c) Nethanayl was extremely gifted and suggested
that these gifts be given

*7
This is abbreviated for reasons of space. The actual text is
   -----------------------------------------------
the offering of HIS OFFERING on day Nachson...
   -----------------------------------------------

So there is an emphasis on
   - HIS OFFERING
   - he is not called PRINCE
   - he did it for the TRIBE not FROM the children

Rashi-is-Simple and explains that NACSHON volunteered
his gift from his own funds. The other tribes used
funds from the PEOPLE of their tribe

*2*3*8
We list 3 of the 12 days. On each day a separate
   prince offered

*4*6
We see two differences by the Tribe of Yissachar
-- Nethanayl is called the prince OF Yissachar
while other leaders are called prince TO

      The word OF denotes intrinsicness

-- It is emphasized that Nethanayl OFFERED

Rashi-is-Simple and suggests that the other
leaders were VOTED leaders while Nethanayl
was BORN for leadership. It therefore seems
reasonable that Nethanayl was a leader of
leaders and suggested that the princes bring
   gifts.

Rashi is in fact supported by the verse that
the Tribe of Yissachar was known for its
scholarship but I believe the main argument
   is as outlined above*10
------------------- LONGER FOOTNOTES ----------------

*10 After making these distinctions I found confirmation
for the OF-INTRINSIC distinction in the Torah
Temimah who cites various obscure commentaries.

====================== LIST070d =================================

The list below gives DEFICIENTLY SPELLED words. An English
example might be TABLE-TABL or TABLE-TBLE
Each word in the list below is deliberately misspelled in the
Bible in order to give the effect of a pun. For example, row 1:
OLY means PERHAPS but when spelled DEFICIENTLY spells TO ME.

So Eliezer (The servant of Abraham) who was sent to get a
wife for his masters son says: MAYBE(OLY) SHE WONT GO WITH
ME but secretly hopes: TO ME(ALY)--that is he hopes that
Abraham will marry his (Eliezers) daughter

We explain the current Rashi Nu07-19a in the footnote. For

NOTES
-----
*1 The verse says HE OFFERED HIS OFFERING but the
   verse puns COMMANDED.

Rashi suggests that the tribes disputed on who
would offer first second etc. So Moses sought
Divine orders and was COMMANDED on the order
