The resolution of these contradictory verses (by 5 methods)
leads to additional nuances and understanding of the text.

THE METHOD
----------
We have outlined 5 submethods of resolving contradiction.
* ASPECTS
--------
-One verse says MAKE ME AN earthen ALTAR(Ex20-21a)
-Another verse says MAKE ME A stone ALTAR(Ex20-22,cf Dt27-05)
So we have a contradiction. Is the altar made of STONE or
EARTH? We resolve the contradiction by perceiving these 2
verses as 2 ASPECTS of the same entity. So the law is that

* 2 STAGES
--------
e.g 1 verse says Levites start learning at 25; Another verse
says at 30. The resolution is to start LEARNING at 25
but start SERVICE at 30

* MEANING(Restrictive vs Broad)
-----------------------------
Lv25-44 says TAKE SLAVES FROM THE SURROUNDING NATIONS
If we interpreted this BROADLY it would mean we can purchase
slaves from any non-jewish nation, even the Canaanites. But
Dt20-16 says DONT LET ANY CANAANITES LIVE. We resolve this
by interpreting LV25-44 LITERALLY. You may ONLY buy slaves
from the nations that SURROUND you but not from the nations
you OCCUPY since the Canaanites must be destroyed without
taking slaves.

e.g. 1 verses calls it a BIRTHstool (Name by FUNCTION) while
a 2nd verse calls it an STONEstool (Name by SUBSTANCE)

* MODAL(MAY-MUST)

e.g. One verse says AGRIEVED WORKERS WILL PRAY TO GOD FOR
VENGENCE while another says LEST THEY PRAY TO GOD.
We infer that employees MAY PRAY but have no OBLIGATION.
