THE VERSES e.g. Ex40-04a
>They placed the Table in the appropriate spot
and laid on it the Bread<

THE RASHI
---------
All Rashis cross reference other verses where FURTHER DETAILS
of the commented verse are explained. eg the arrangement
of bread on the Temple table is explained in FURTHER DETAIL in
Lv24-05:09 which eg states HOW THE TEMPLE TABLE
BREAD WAS MADE, HOW MANY LOAVES THERE WERE ...

THE LIST

The LIST below presents the temple items mentioned, the cross
references with further details, as well as what these further
details are
VERSE TOPIC DISCUSSED OTHER VERSES FURTHER DETAILS
Ex39-43a Moses blessed nation Ps90-17*1 Example of Moses Bles
Ex40-20a Place AYDUTH in Ark Ex34-29*6 AYDUTH=10 Commandment
COMMENTS

*1 Rashi simply cites the last verse in Ps90
which is one of the few Psalms Moses wrote.

    >May the pleasantness of God our Lord be on us...<

EITHER this is the actual blessing mentioned in Ex39-43
OR, it is conceivable that Rashi meant this as
an EXAMPLE of What Moses blessing COULD have been like

*6 This is a MULTI-CROSS REFERENCE. Here are the details
   in 3 stages

STAGE 1: AYDUTH REFERS TO THE 10 COMMANDMENTS IN THE ARK

Ex25-16b states that AYDUTH is placed in the temple ARK
Ex34-29 states that the AYDUTH are the 10 commandments
Ex38-21c states that the Temple was the TEmple for AYDUTH
Ex30-26 states that the incense was BEFORE The AYDUTH
Ex27-21 states that the Paroceth covered the AYDUTH

Thus the picture is clear. God gave Moses the 10 commandments
on 2 stones called AYDUTH These 2 stones were
placed in the Ark which was placed in the Holy of Holies.
The 10 commandments was the MAIN FOCUS of the TEMPLE since
   it summarized the TORAH.
Hence the term TEMPLE FOR AYDUTH (Ex38-21).

The KETORETH was offered on the Golden Altar that was
before the HOLY OF HOLIES where the ark resided. Similary
the PAROCETH covered the entrance to the HOLY of HOLIES
where the AYDUTH--the 10 commandments resided.

STAGE 2: OTHER SUPPORTING VERSES TO THE ABOVE IDEAS

There are many other verses supporting these ideas
   -------------------------------------------------------------
   ARK HAD TABLETS see Ex25-16b Ex31-07a Ex25-22 Ex26-33 Ex26-34
   AYDUTH=TABLETS WITH 10 COMMANDMENTS:Ex31-18 Ex32-15 Ex34-29
   -------------------------------------------------------------

STAGE 3: RASHI EXPLAINS THE ETYMOLOGY OF AYDUTH

Finally Rashi explains the etymology of AYDUTH on Ex38-21c:
AYDUTH comes from the root Yud-Ayin-Dalet which means
TO MEET and refers to the fact that God MEETs Man (thru
   prophecy) in the Temple
